Debut Track released by The Wears!
Prior to today, it would’ve been impossible to find any trace of The Wears on your favourite streaming platforms. That’s because this is the first contribution the quartet from Stockport have publicly made to their name after only a couple of warm up gigs around Manchester. Now, the release of the lads’ debut single ‘Too Little Too Late’ has shone a light on their previously dark corner of the Manc music world, and the people of the world should be excited.
‘Too Little Too Late’ has everything you know and love about indie rock, with a splash of their own flavour forging a signature style. Think about Catfish’s infectious melodies meeting the fierce guitars of Royal Blood. This single has youthful energy that only a band made up of 17 year olds could possess, but the production may fool you into thinking they’ve had years of experience. Refreshing vocals, diligent drums and all things guitar mean that by the end of the track you’ll be reaching to play it again (and again).
‘Too Little Too Late’ is a stadium ready tune that couldn’t have been released sooner. Up the Fucking Wears.
A teen with a major love for all things music. I’m in an unhealthy relationship with my guitar which sometimes leads to me being the one on the stage… oh, and I love a good sing-a-long to anything, but The Wombats and Catfish and the Bottlemen will always have a special place in my heart.
