Whenyoung announce Debut Album, and receive Single of the Week!

After last weeks mess-up, Single of the Week is back on a Sunday and it’s a belter.

Along with announcing their debut album being released in May, whenyoung have also released new track ‘Future’. I was lucky enough to hear them play it live back in February, so it’s great to hear it released. Worthy of single of the week winner.

It’s not as poppy as ‘Never Let Go’ or ‘Given Up’, as the band slow down the tempo slightly, offering a more thoughtful track. You have yet another well worked chorus by the band, along with a warming melody.

Since the EP release the trio continue to move from strength to strength and the album will surely be a great payoff for all the hard work. They were tipped for big things by the likes of DIY, so far this year they’ve lived up to the hype.
