#6 WFM Music Pile-Up | ft. BlackWaters

BlackWaters, Children of the State and JAWS all get involved for the Weekly Round-Up

With us being sent so much music on a weekly basis it’s difficult to review them all! So we’ve created a little space where we can share a bunch of new music which we simply couldn’t fit in! Hope you Enjoy!

Blackwaters – ‘I’m Not Your Man’

Blackwaters enjoyed 2018 with their EP release of People Street. This has led to their first release of 2019 with ‘I’m Not Your Man’ which has a shouty, punchy chorus. The track has some hints to The Enemy, as lead singer

Children of the State – ‘I Shiver When I Burn’

After the successful release of their debut EP last Year,  Chilidren of the State have consistently been on the rise. ‘I Shiver When I Burn’ was released earlier this week, and has a certain Alex Turner Submarine sound to it all, as it swoons out of the speakers.

Far Caspian – ‘A Dream Of You’

Far Caspian have already released ‘Conversations’ earlier on this year, and they’re already back with ‘A Dream of You’. The track has a delicate side to it with subtle riff similar to what you may hear on a Mac Demarco track.

JAWS – ‘Please Be Kind’

JAWS are back with another track ahead of their third album release and UK tour with ‘Please Be Kind’. The track is what we’ve come to expect from the band as they deliver another masterclass in dreamy pop.

Tundara – ‘Navy Red’

Tundra are back with their latest track ‘Navy Red’ which has received some great responses, and now they can add ours to the pile. The song is rough and ready with the ridiculous pace of the track. The straight vocals add to the punk feeling of the track, you could see this going down well live.

Naked Next Door – ‘Fade’

Finally we have Naked Next Door with ‘Fade’, which is their first track since 2017. The band have a poppy edge to them with this track, with the choppy guitars and clean-cut vocals.
