Brighton Duo Sit Down earn Single of the Week with ‘Teeth’!

This weeks single of the week celebrates the return of Sit Down with ‘Teeth’! Now while this single isn’t technically new this week, as it’s been on their Bandcamp since 2017, we love it so much we’re counting its Spotify release and video accompaniment as our favourite release of this week.

‘Teeth’ begins with a Nivarna like riff with moments of dirty fuzzy guitar. The track is much calmer then their other songs, mostly down to the two minutes at the start. But the chorus is easily recognisable as Sit Down, high energy, powerful vocals pairing with grungy riffs.

The duo from Brighton look straight out of the 60’s and are one of my favourite music discoveries. I can’t recommend them enough and ‘Teeth’ is just the tip of their musical talent. Take a listen to the badass EP ‘Cheap Luxe’ from last year; I guarantee you will love it.
