Oddity Road Release First Track of 2019!

Indie quartet Oddity Road’s first song of the year is a promising sign of what the band have to offer in the future.

Oddity Eoad become a representative for the youth with their brand new single ‘Why am I like this’. They have already received attention from BBC Introducing, and have been supported by Radio 1 and Radio 6. After relentlessly touring across the UK for the last twelve months, continuing to play at well known festivals, and finally supporting bands like The Sherlock’s. Oddity Road are making waves in the music world.

Their new single contributes to their overall sound, as this band doesn’t hesitate to make as much noise as they can. The heavy guitar instantly draws you into the song, showcasing their understanding of how to please an audience. There’s plenty of enjoyment for our ears to listen to. With something new to listen out for every time the song is played.

Yet again, Oddity Road have written an infectious chorus, preaching the words ‘why am I like this’ reflecting the familiar questioning that all teenagers and young adults face as they grow. Frontman Jack Heath gives us an energetic performance. This is only boosted by lead guitarist Dan Brennan, bassist Joel Gilbourne and drummer Ethan Lambert.

A solid, and familiar song adding to the collection of festival bangers from  Oddity Road
