The Shrewsbury Trio Release their Final Track before 2019!
Don’t be fooled by their name. You can listen to The Sunset Beach Hut all year round, not just in the heat of summer.
The Indie-Pop trio from Shrewsbury have just released their third song ‘Bury’ to finish off their busy first year. It’s a Christmas present come early. After the success of their two earlier singles, 2018’s been an encouraging year for this brand new band. The band have bagged Record of the Week from BBC Introducing twice with previous singles ‘Comfort’ and ‘Upside Down’. As well as this they’ve supported fellow up and coming bands such as Stereo Honey, their future is looking bright.
‘Bury’ is their most exciting tune to date, after obtaining the perfect balance between a groovy disco. Ben’s loyal guitar melodies and a contemporary undertone enhance the sound, complimented by Aphra’s unique vocals.
Each instrument brings something different to the table and they combine together to create a feast for the ears. The drums, played by Matty, are precise, with fillers at the right place and at the right time creating the perfect rhythm. Ben’s guitar playing acts as a decoration to the song and his short, endearing melodies brighten up the whole tune. Showcasing their flourishing approach to song writing. The vocals from Aphra are distinctive and intriguing, her singing tops off the song to confirm the trio’s brilliant fusion of all of their individual talents.
A teen with a major love for all things music. I’m in an unhealthy relationship with my guitar which sometimes leads to me being the one on the stage… oh, and I love a good sing-a-long to anything, but The Wombats and Catfish and the Bottlemen will always have a special place in my heart.
