New Release | Shaun O’Reilly – ‘Witches’

Shaun O’Reilly Releases New Track ‘Witches’

Not a day has gone by in the last few months that I haven’t said “Alexa – play Shaun O’Reilly on Spotify”

This recurring order is simply down to the three superb singles he’s released in 2018. However, the latest addition – ‘Witches’ – tops them all.

Opening with a harmonica, the vocal melody weaves its way around a finger picked guitar progression, placing you right on the “dirty old streets” he’s singing about.

If you’ve jumped on the Gerry Cinnamon hype, we also think you’ll dig this guy’s raw British Americana. Shaun’s lyric “I’d never want to be the kind of guy who buys sh*t that he doesn’t need, to impress those he doesn’t even like” should tell you enough about why.

Shaun O’Reilly is a seriously good songwriter. A people’s poet with the language of song running through his veins. There are whispers on the wind that his debut album will be released on upcoming label ‘Us Is The New Them’ early next year. We can’t wait.
