Finding Aurora are an indie three piece based in South Wales. They have already established themselves as an incredible live band, with their first ever gig happening only a few months ago in May, at the Dragonffli in Pontypool. Since then they’ve been working hard and have recorded their debut EP with Jeff Rose (Skindred and Dub War).
The band have already released one song from the EP, ‘Nick’s Gone Fishing‘. The track is full of raw energy, fuzzy riffs and hypnotic distorted vocals. If ‘Nick’s Gone Fishing’ is anything to go by, Finding Aurora have an incredibly bright future ahead of them.
The self titled EP consists of five tracks and will be released tomorrow (October 11th). To celebrate the release, Finding Aurora will be headlining Cardiff Transport Club on the 11th of October. They’re such an exciting young band, both live and on record, bound to make waves in the scene in the near future.
SUPPORT THE BAND
I’m an 18 year old in South Wales with a love for live music. Aspiring journalist who just wants to make a mark on the DIY indie scene. Love nothing more then a good old dance with my pals. Have a particular soft spot for animals and bass guitars. My favourite bands are Strange Bones and Enter Shikari- I love energetic artists that aren’t afraid to cross genres.
