‘Stepping Stones’
Stepping Stones is a track that manages to sew together basic pop sensibilities with a folky chore at the heart of the song. This finger picking masterpiece is Ant Chamberlains debut single, and it’s hard to decipher how it possibly could be because of how intricate and complete it is. Ant’s vocals throughout this songs is something to admire on it’s own as it has this warm feeling to it,as it simply glides and entwines with every note. After being in the background for so long, and working with so many music acts, ant is ready to take the plunge and take to the stage himself, and this song isn’t a bad start.
